Woods to skip WGC Match-Play
Tiger Woods confirmed on Thursday that he'll skip the WGC Match-Play Championship this month.
The world No. 1 announced that his next tournament will be the US PGA Tour's Honda Classic from Feb 27 to March 2. After that, he'll play the World Golf Championships Cadillac Championship, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational - in both of which he is the defending champion. The WGC-Cadillac is from March 6-9, and the Palmer Invitational is from March 20-23. That will then give Woods (left) some time off before he tackles the first Major of the year - the US Masters at Augusta National from April 10-13. - AFP.
