It has been almost two years since he plunged 22 storeys -- and survived.

He has since recovered, though not fully, from the multiple fractures that he suffered.

Eateries hit hard by foreign labour crunch can’t find workers

It was reported last week that Soon Heng Restaurant, a popular fish head curry eatery, had shut because it could not hire enough workers.

And that seems to be the lament of many eateries here.

Worker dies at MRT worksite

A foreign worker died during a worksite accident at a MRT worksite off Tuas West Drive on Saturday afternoon, the third in about six weeks. Two workers died at the MRT tunnel linkway in Bugis on July 18.
