With the death of a legend, last night’s Star Awards Show 1 had a somewhat sombre feel to it.

And MediaCorp artistes, who worked with the late Huang Wenyong, paid heartfelt tributes to the veteran and well-respected actor who entertained local audiences for more than three decades.

Huang, 60, died of lymphoma on Saturday, one day before the first part of the awards show. The Star awards honour the best in local television.

Yet another Oscars has come and gone and while this year's Oscars was a relatively tame affair, it had a fair share of entertaining moments.
