On Thursday morning, some residents of Block 537, Hougang Street 52 woke to a drama taking place inside a flat on the sixth storey.

IT was meant to be a sweet cruise for Mr Horace Pinto and his wife Lucy.

For almost six hours, they endured an ordeal that turned a holiday into every diver;s nightmare – being left adrift and alone in open waters with little hope of rescue.
