Man jailed three years for stabbing wife

A 42-year-old flight steward was jailed for three years yesterday for causing grievous hurt to his 33-year-old wife, after stabbing her till her intestines were exposed.

He attacked her in July last year, in front of their eldest son, then eight years old.

He has been verbally abused, hit and even allegedly slashed with a knife by his girlfriend of more than a decade.

And in all those years, Mr Tay Mui Tong (above), 60, has stuck by her.
