National University of Singapore (NUS) students were surprised when a pharmacy on campus removed contraceptives from its shelves, allegedly after a posting online on Monday alerting undergrads that they were on sale.

School bus fares go up

Some school bus companies have raised their fares - with increases ranging from $3 to $20.

Bus operators blamed it on higher cost of insurance, spare parts and diesel.
