Demand for vehicle cameras increasing, say distributors

Motorists are increasingly keeping an in-car camera for record purposes.

In the past week, in-car camera videos from two accidents were posted on YouTube, on citizen journalism website Stomp and on other forums.

Badly injured baby left to die in traffic

A 2-year-old girl, who was ignored by passers-by as she lay injured after being run over twice, has been declared "brain dead" by doctors, who say she could die at any time.

Footage from a surveillance camera presented on local TV shows Yue Yue walking in a hardware market in Foshan, Guangdong province, on Thursday, about 100 meters away from her home, when she was run over by a van a. It then showed three passers-by who ignored the little girl despite noticing her.
