Heroes Among Us: Befriending the elderly with Ng Run Qian

Since volunteering with Lions Befrienders in May 2009, Ms Ng Run Qian, 29, has befriended around 90 seniors. Together with the Befrienders team, she visits the seniors at their homes at night, chatting and providing a listening ear.
