Another video of Americans trying Singapore food
Hot on the heels of the last YouTube video which features Singapore foods, comes another similar one on snacks.
Buzzfeed released a YouTube video where a group of Americans try what they think are "Singaporean" foods on camera and give their judgment.
The video, uploaded on Tuesday (July 22) is part of a series where they try foods from various parts of the world.
They tried haw flakes, squid chips (or you know squid keropok), red melon seeds (kua chee) and chicken satay.
While we eat them, we probably can't proclaim they necessarily originated here.

They found it boring and tasteless, "like all seeds".
The biggest cheer was for the humble chicken satay, which all of them found extremely delicious.
We though, have a a couple of issues.
The satay while thick with meat, looks pale.

Guys let this Mat Singapore show you what real satay looks like.
Much more appetising isn' it? Photo: ST file photo
Also, for the love for barbecued meats on sticks, why did one of you take it off the stick to dip it in the sauce?!
Anyway, minor eating etiquette boo boo aside, we're happy that our food got a mentioned again.
