Blackpink's Lisa is CEO of Singapore-based Lloud

The artiste management company was registered in the Republic in Nov 2023.

Best known for her singing and acting career, it may surprise you to discover that Lisa of K-pop girl group Blackpink has an office registered in Singapore.

Business directory RecordOwl lists the 28-year-old Thai singer/actress as chief executive officer of Lloud Co Pte Ltd under her full name, Lalisa Manoban.

LLoud, an artiste management company, offers brokerage and consultancy services for intellectual property assets. The company's registered office is a unit in Carpenter Haus, a co-working space at 36 Carpenter Street.

Having the company registered in Singapore, where it has been active for almost two years, gives it better access to Southeast Asian markets, where Lisa has a huge fan base. It is also well within the range of major Asian markets.

Singapore's competitive tax rates and strong laws for the protection of intellectual property might also have been a consideration, while being based in the city-state would also afford the White Lotus star opportunities for new ventures and collaborations with global brands.

Having LLoud in a financial capital like Singapore would also give her company a flexibility that would otherwise not be available in South Korea.

Lisa and her Blackpink mates - Jennie, Jisoo and Rose, will make the Singapore stop of their Deadline world tour with performances on Nov 29 and 30.

Tickets are already sold out.
