Christine Cavanaugh, the voice in Dexter's Laboratory, Babe and Rugrats, dies

Christine Cavanaugh, the voice we heard almost everywhere when we were younger, died aged 51 on Dec 22.

The cause of her death was not released.

She was the voice of Dexter in Dexter's Laboratory, Chuckie Finster in Rugrats, Babe in Babe the Movie, and also featured in The Wild Thornberrys, The Powerpuff Girls and many other children's cartoons and shows.

Cavanaugh didn't just lend her voice to cartoons or children's films.

She appeared in shows like ER and Everybody Loves Raymond.

The obituary in the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday said that Cavanaugh retired from show business in 2001 to be closer to her family.

"She was able to do incredible and amazing things with her voice and bring lots of smiles and many laughs to many people who are now young adults."
