Kumar launches search for Singapore's next comedy, drag sensation

Kumar is on the hunt for Singapore's next big comedy and drag star for his star-studded production, S.O.S Kumar.

This opportunity will offer an immediate stage at the comedy production for the chosen performer.

Auditions will be held on April 17 and 23, from 8pm to 10.30pm at Rabbit's Hole. Participants will perform live before Kumar and a live audience. Finalists will then compete in the Grand Finale on May 16, from 9pm to 11pm.

Anyone aged 18 and above with a passion for comedy or drag performance can apply for the audition.

Comedians should prepare a stand-up set of up to three minutes. Judges will be looking for originality, comedic timing and audience connection.

Drag performers should prepare a routine showcasing their creativity, charisma and stage presence.

Those interested in both are encouraged to bring their A-game and demonstrate their versatility.

Besides performing in S.O.S Kumar, the winner receives a $1,000 cash prize, exclusive mentorship from Kumar himself, and a two-year engagement with Ra Ra Productions.

S.O.S Kumar opens at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands this July. Tickets start from $68.
