Funeral for Kpop girl group's EunB today, manager reportedly charged

Ladies’ Code member EunB died in a tragic crash on Wednesday.

Her funeral will be held today.

As famous names including idol groups Apink, Dal Shabet, B1A4, sexy diva Ivy, singer-songwriter Kim Ye Rim and Jung Jae Eun visited the funeral home at Korea University Anam Hospital, her manager has reportedly been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Two bandmates, RiSe and Sojung, were severely injured after the van the group was in slipped on a rainy road.

The group was returning to Seoul after a scheduled appearance in the south-eastern city of Daegu when the wheel came off, causing the van to spin several times before hitting a guard rail.

RiSe had emergency brain surgery for over nine hours and is now "under careful observation".

The group’s record label Polaris Entertainment said in a statement:

"The other members are currently hospitalised in Seoul. Sojung underwent an operation for her bone fracture.

Ashley and Zuny did not sustain major injuries, but because of the shock and trauma from the accident they are currently undergoing several examinations and treatment."

An inquiry has been commissioned to determine if improper upkeep and negligence caused the back wheel to fall off, ultimately leading to the accident.
