Korean singer Yoon Mi Rae to take legal action against 'The Interview' for using her song without permission

And the award for most troubled comedy goes to... The Interview.

While Sony Pictures managed to screen the movie in several theatres and put it up for online streaming, it seems their problems are far from over.

Korean singer Yoon Mi Rae is set to take legal action against the movie for using her song allegedly without her permission.

Her song Pay Day was used in the movie in a hedonistic scene with Kim Jong Un, played by Randall Park, and James Franco's Dave Skylark.

Here's where the song was used in the film:

The actual song:

Yoon's record label Feel Ghood Music said in a press release: "There were initial discussions for using Pay Day in the movie, but at some point, the discussions ceased and we assumed that it would not follow through.

"However, after the movie was released, we learned that the track had been used without permission, legal procedure, or contracts."

The controversial movie was previously pulled out of theatres after Sony Pictures were hacked and threatened against screening the movie.

North Korea is said to be responsible for the cyber attack.
