Lim Kay Tong takes on iconic separation press conference as Lee Kuan Yew. What do you think?

The SG50 movie 1965 has been creating some buzz - especially after it was announced that veteran actor Lim Kay Tong will be tackling the admittedly challenging role of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

During the weekend, a teaser trailer was released of the movie that is said to revolve around the 1964 race riots that took place here.

Yesterday, a clip of the movie's take on the iconic 1965 press conference, where Mr Lee announced Singapore's separation from Malaysia, was released.

The scene focuses on the moments after the seminal moment where Mr Lee breaks down on camera.
