Lohan sues GTA V makers for character allegedly based on her

Lindsay Lohan is unhappy over a popular video game's attempt to rake up her troubled past.

The former Disney star is suing the makers of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) for allegedly swiping her image to create the ditzy Lacey Jonas character without her knowledge or permission, reported New York Daily News.

The suit says Lohan’s image, voice and styles from her clothing line are depicted, reported CBS New York.

The game featured the hotel Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, where Lohan lived in 2012 and allegedly ran up an unpaid $46,000 bill.

The Jonas character also appears to be anorexic, in apparent reference to Lohan's history of eating disorders.

"I mostly just suck on (French fries) and spit them into a bucket, but that's still probably like, a hundred calories," the Jonas character said in the game.

The open world, action-adventure game released last September is one of the fast-selling games in history. Sales topped $800 million on its first day, said the CBS report.

Distributor and publisher of GTA V, Take-Two Interactive Software and Rockstar Games, have declined comment.
