Malaysian director Ahmad Idham in Singapore to promote latest movie

Award winning Malaysian director Ahmad Idham has paired up with StarHub TV to offer his movies on its channel.

The first movie to be offered is his latest flick, a romantic comedy "Misi Tawan Baby"

Starring popular Malaysian artists Kamal Adli and Erin Malek, the movie is set to be released on Nov 13 simultaneously in Malaysian cinemas as well as exclusively on StarHub's On Demand Channel, Blockbuster Hangat.

The director and cast was in Singapore to promote the movie and also for a meet and greet session with fans at StarHub Green in Ubi Avenue 1 on Thursday (Nov 6).

Ahmad is probably best known for his horror-comedy 2007's "Jangan Pandang Belakang" (Don't Look Back) which grossed RM 7.5 million (S$ 2.9 million) and 2010's "Adnan Sempit" which grossed RM 5.5 million in its first 13 days of its release in Malaysia.

Will this movie be received in the same manner?

Judging by the popularity of his earlier movies, that is a huge possibility.
