Casting for new Han Solo throws up new names

Disney and Lucasfilm have begun testing a crop of actors to play the young Han Solo in the new untitled Star Wars spin-off, to be out on May 25, 2018.

According to Variety, studio execs are looking at a dozen actors, including Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort (above), Dave Franco, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen, Blake Jenner and Jack Reynor.

It is believed that the new Solo could have a cameo in the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is set between the events of Episode III and IV.
