Dory breaks box-office records

Finding Dory has made history by being the top-grossing animated film on its opening day in the US last Friday.

Pixar and Disney's sequel to 2003's Finding Nemo earned about US$55 million (S$74 million),surpassing the US$47 million first-day takings of Shrek The Third (2007).

Finding Dory's opening weekend is projected to be US$139 million, which is more than enough to defeat Pixar's best opening so far, 2010's Toy Story 3 (US$110.3 million).

The animation studio has also announced that even low-vision and blind fans will be able to enjoy the movie via a smart-syncing audio descriptive narration through the Disney Movies Anywhere application.

Harris 'angry' over Swift's new beau

Tom Hiddleston fans are not the only ones reeling at the English actor's sudden hook-up with US singer Taylor Swift.

Swift's ex-boyfriend, Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, reportedly feels angry and betrayed after pictures of the couple kissing emerged two weeks after he and Swift split up.

An insider told E! News: "Calvin was very suspicious that Taylor was cheating during their relationship... He feels like these pictures confirm his suspicions."

However, Harris, 32, was recently caught on camera by SplashNews reacting to the Swift-Hiddleston romance with the words: "It's all good. She's doing her thing."

Mila Kunis pregnant with second child

US actors Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are expecting their second child.

Kunis, 32, and her husband Kutcher, 38, already have a 20-month-old daughter named Wyatt Isabelle.

When Business Insider asked Kunis last October if she wanted more children in the future, she replied: "Not today, but yeah, absolutely. For sure."

Kutcher also previously said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: "The most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner Mila. She's the greatest mum - I can't even! Like, I go to work every day and I come home and she's perfect."

Astley tops UK charts in comeback

After nearly 30 years, English singer Rick Astley has topped the UK charts with his new album 50, beating Tom Odell's Wrong Crowd by a very close margin.

It is Astley's first offering since 2005's Portrait, which reached No. 26.

The last time he hit No. 1 was in 1987, when he released his debut album Whenever You Need Somebody.

The 50-year-old told BBC Music of his surprisingly successful comeback: "It's amazing, it's incredible. It's been a very, very, very long time."
