Movie Review: Hail, Caesar! (PG)

Set in 1950s Hollywood, Hail, Caesar! depicts the life of prominent industry fixer Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin).

He spends his days keeping his talents in line and productions going on set.

He works even harder to keep his studio's stars from appearing on scandal-laden gossip pages written by twin sisters and rival columnists Thora and Thessaly Thacker, portrayed by a brilliant Tilda Swinton.

This off-centre comedy helmed by the Coen brothers pokes fun at the workings of old Hollywood behind all its glitz and glamour.

Complete with a stellar cast including George Clooney, Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson, Hail, Caesar! is gleeful, fun entertainment.
