1D members at Soccer Aid
In its bid to grab eyeballs, it looks like Soccer Aid 2016 is moving in the right direction.
The football match, featuring celebrities and football stars to raise money for charity, took place at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester last Sunday.
Raising over £5.4 million (S$10.6 million) for Unicef, this year's event boasted the participation of two members of top UK boy band One Direction - Louis Tomlinson, 24, and Niall Horan, 22.
One Direction fans at the venue couldn't stop swooning over the duo, with one Twitter user joking: "Swear half the crowd at soccer aid are just 15-year-old girls crying over Niall and Louis."
