Has Coldplay's Chris Martin moved on?

Chris Martin was apparently spotted enjoying the company of Alexa Chung in New York City recently.

A source revealed to Heat magazine that the two grabbed a drink together at the bar Elsa last week, less than two months after it was announced that the Coldplay frontman and wife Gwyneth Paltrow had split after 10 years of marriage.

"When I arrived, about 9:15 p.m., they were tucked away in a dark corner of the back room of the bar," a source told E Online.

The eyewitness added, "Chris and Alexa seemed to know each other really well. They were both in a great mood, and even asked us to watch their bags when they went out for a cigarette. It definitely looked like a date to me."

It still remains unclear as to whether the two were actually a date or not.

After all, it may have simply been two friends getting together and catching up... or is it?
