Miley supports Clinton with 'US flag' outfit

Singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus hit the campaign trail in support of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton decked from head to toe in a most patriotic ensemble.

She went door-knocking for Mrs Clinton at a George Mason University dormitory on Saturday afternoon, mixing and mingling with prospective voters, reported NBC Washington.

She said: "This election has been super hateful, not only for the nominees themselves, but within our own community. When I post support for Hillary on Instagram, I can't believe the hate that I get."
