Must-see MVs
English singer Anohni's touching and powerful new track Drone Bomb Me is a must-watch.
ANOHNI - DRONE BOMB ME
The gravity of the story behind the English singer's heartbreaking track is written all over the face of the MV's leading lady, English supermodel and Empire actress Naomi Campbell.
As she mouths the lyrics - written from the perspective of a young Afghan girl whose family was destroyed in a drone bomb attack - Campbell lets her tears flow while staring directly at the camera in a dark, dreary-looking room.
EDWARD SHARPE & THE MAGNETIC ZEROS - NO LOVE LIKE YOURS
Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde's music video directorial debut is whimsical, starring the US folk band's lead singer Alex Ebert.
Ebert wakes up in a bathtub in an abandoned dumping ground and tries to make sense of his environment. He chances upon a quirky band of musicians on a hill, discovers they are a funeral procession and willingly climbs into a white coffin.
It's idiosyncratic and Wilde captures this.
ALESSIA CARA - WILD THINGS
Oh, the joys of being young, wild and free.
The up-and-coming 19-year-old Canadian singer captures her youthful spirit in this new MV, surrounded by her close friends as they defy convention and have their own brand of fun through clean, responsible means.
The group hangs out at a house party, then get silly pushing each other around in supermarket trolleys and dancing around a beach bonfire before calling it a night.
Like her previous song Here, Cara doesn't care about being part of the "in" crowd as long as she's having fun being herself.
