New releases
JENNIFER HUDSON - WALK IT OUT (FEAT. TIMBALAND)
The American Idol Season 3 finalist and Oscar-winning US actress belts "I got you hypnotised" in the beginning and she is spot on.
In this sexy R&B track, she is effortlessly charming, drawing listeners in with her velvety vocals.
Hudson said of her new track: "Walk It Out reflects the 'JHud' in me. Every bit of it is a reminder and a connection of where I come from."
LANA DEL REY - WEST COAST
If you have missed the US singer, you will like the fact that she is still half-drawling, half-singing through her songs.
West Coast pairs her trademark breathy vocals with a languid Western feel that, I must admit, is somewhat sexy. The track is the first single off her upcoming album Ultraviolence.
ED SHEERAN - SING
After all those grey, gloomy vibes from his earlier material, it's high time the English singer introduced some much-needed joy into his work.
Sing sees him switching from rapping to nailing that falsetto a la Justin Timberlake, all within this uncharacteristically jaunty pop number. This lead single off his upcoming album x is produced by music's man-of-the-moment Pharrell Williams, which probably explains this new direction.
