A-listers, move over. Krysten 'Jessica Jones' Ritter kicks off the new year by showing off her other superpower: red carpet dominance
KRYSTEN RITTER
Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles
Gown: Zuhair Murad
Clutch: Jimmy Choo
She's getting the name, the fame and now the red carpet game. Ritter's star is on the rise, thanks to her hit TV series Jessica Jones, so fortunately she's starting to dress like one. This plunging burgundy crystal embroidered number is perfection.

LUCY LIU
Premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3 in Los Angeles
Dress: Self-Portrait
Shoes: Neil J Rodgers
We've seen incarnations of this black crochet mesh LBD a hundred times before, but Liu's sassiness elevates it to another level.

JUNO TEMPLE
Premiere of Vinyl in New York City
Gown: Saint Laurent
She deserves a tiara all right because I'm crowning her "Miss Disco Queen gone off her meds".

KEKE PALMER
FOX Winter TCA 2016 All-Star Party in Los Angeles
Top: House Of CB
Pants: Manokhi
Shoes: Area Studio
Everything from the waist up is acceptable, but I'll have nightmares about those monstrous leather pants and buckle mules for weeks.

CARLY RAE JEPSEN
FOX Winter TCA 2016 All-Star Party in Los Angeles
Jumpsuit: Not known
It's obvious Jepsen has neither a mirror nor a friend because a shapeless sheer onesie is possibly the stupidest-looking fashion invention after flatforms.

MOST IMPROVED
LESLIE MANN
One designer, two extreme results. This particular shade of dusty-rose pink screams bridesmaid and the loose blouson fit of the top gives the illusion of low-hanging boobs, so that's an instant miss. But it's also Lhuillier that allows Mann to find redemption - and a hit. The flirty ballerina-style strapless black-and-white ombre frock is something every girl should have in her closet.
Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, Jan 10
Gown: Monique Lhuillier
Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Jan 17
Dress: Monique Lhuillier
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
If it takes any more (time) than that, I’m not interested. I’m not a tryer-on of 50 million dresses unless you catch me at a right time, then you may be able to get in there.
