Victoria Beckham is UK's top entrepreneur
Victoria Beckham is truly inspiring for every modern woman.
She has just been named Britain's most successful entrepreneur - adding another feather to her rapidly growing list of achievements.
Business magazine Management Today gave the 40-year-old former pop star the title. In the process, she beat 99 other people, including famed fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood.
Last month, Mrs Beckham opened her first standalone boutique store in a prestigious district in London.
Worth more than David Beckham
In the five years that she started her business, the mother of four has seen sales soar, from £1 million (S$2,052,000) to £30 million, The Guardian reported.
She's worth an estimated £210 million and is said to have overtaken husband David, who was worth a reported £165 million in 2013.
Andrew Saunders, the deputy editor at Management Today, said: "She has built something real out of her own celebrity, which is quite a contemporary story. She deserves to be celebrated."
Beckham also said in an interview with The Guardian last month: "First time around I felt famous, but now I feel successful".
