He's one of the most popular Korean actors at the moment who is under pressure to look good all the time.
So when You Who Came From The Stars actor Kim Soo Hyun, 26, turned up at a car show in China last October looking rounder than usual, the media and fans there had a field day mocking him.
According to K-pop news site A Koala's Playground, some even made a collage of him andNorth Korean leader Kim Jong Un exclaiming that the latter had been found.
The North Korean leader had disappeared from public view for six weeks to have a cyst removed, which was ironically caused by obesity, reported CNN.
But Kim has hit back at his critics with a gorgeous new look for Elle Korea's January issue.
Kpop Starz reported that Elle Korea recently released additional cuts of his photo shoot in London in addition to the making-of video and he looks sexier than ever.
