10 things you possibly didn't know your iPhone could do

1. Faster charging

Simply switch your iPhone to Airplane mode for a quicker battery charge.

2. Customisable vibrations

Settings > Sounds > Ringtone > Vibration > Create New Vibration.

Personalised vibrations enable you to recognise who's calling or texting you, even if your phone is on silent.

3 . Viewing email drafts quickly

A listed view of email drafts can be seen by holding down the compose icon on the bottom right of the screen.

4. Fall asleep listening to music without losing much battery life

By tapping on the Timer icon on the lower right of the Clock app, you can set the timer for how long you want your music to be played. After doing so, tap "When Timer Ends" and select "Stop Playing" to ensure that the music stops the timer runs out.

5. Automatic full stop and spacing when texting

Double tap the spacebar for a full stop and a space to appear when beginning a new sentence.

6. Undo typing with a shake

Made a mistake while typing an e-mail or text or editing a photo? Just shake your device to clear it.

7. Burst mode

Holding down the capture icon in the camera app allows rapid shots of pictures to be taken to achieve that perfect photograph.

8. Creating shortcuts

Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Add New Shortcut

Now when you type shortcuts for phrases you often use, its whole word or phrase will appear.

9. Multitasking with e-mail drafts

If you're halfway through typing an e-mail and would like to look at your inbox again, you can just hold the top of your e-mail and drag it down. If you dragged more than one draft down, you can view them in carousel view, which looks similar to tabs on Safari.

10. Hide Photos

An option to "Hide" will appear when you tap and hold on a photo in the Photos App. Photos that are hidden will not appear in Collections, Moments and Years and will be stored in a hidden album without being deleted.
