Boy with no feet shows superb soccer skills

He is like any other footballer his age.

At 13, Gabriel Muniz shows the kind of ball control seen only in players twice his age.

But unlike other footballers, the Brazilian was born without any feet.

Gabriel was in Hong Kong on Friday to showcase his skills at an event to promote the World Cup, beginning in about two weeks’ time, Mail Online reported.

He will also play in a three-a-side match later this week, as part of the run-up to the tournament. 

Gabriel was born with a limb deficiency called apodia, which meant his feet did not develop.

Now he wears prosthetic limbs, but goes without them during a game. 

His skills were so impressive that he caught the eye of FC Barcelona in 2012, and was invited to play with able-bodied footballers at a training camp.
