Time to finally put this year's awards season to bed, folks.

It's just a little ironic that the Oscar after-parties ended up making the actual Oscar red carpet look like amateur hour.

And the Oscars culprit is... a tweeting accountant from PwC

Banks was one of many stars who really made the effort for the Vanity Fair after-party and this was the most impressive. Yes, even in what's essentially a super-fancy palazzo jumpsuit, she crushed Oscars 2016 fashion.

ANNE HATHAWAY

Gown: Naeem Khan

Clutch: Jimmy Choo

This screams fertility goddess in the best way. The glitzy 70s-inspired embellished caftan is a masterclass of maternity fashion, showing off her bump in a non-obnoxious manner. It makes her look glorious and comfortable at the same time. What more can a heavily pregnant mum-to-be ask for?

Rating: A

LEA MICHELE

Elton John Aids Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party In Los Angeles

Gown: Pamella Roland

For a woman who wouldn't recognise good taste even if it slapped her across the face, this is hands down the most beautiful thing she has ever worn. Hey, miracles happen.

Rating: B+

MIRANDA KERR

Vanity Fair Oscar party in Los Angeles

Gown: KaufmanFranco

Clutch: Atelier Swarovski

Just when did Kerr feel the need to get desperate with such oversized waist cut-outs? Could it be around the time her ex-hubby Orlando Bloom hooked up with Katy Perry? Anyway, this is the very definition of thirsty.

Rating: C

EMMA ROBERTS

Vanity Fair Oscar party in Los Angeles

Gown: Yanina Couture

Clutch: Kotur

Frankly, I'm surprised pest control wasn't all over her the minute she arrived because the only place this dress belongs is in quarantine. The bugs are attacking Roberts' lady parts while she puts on a brave face. Give this woman an Oscar already.

WHO WORE IT BETTER?

Slinky skin-baring black halter gowns with deep Vs and slits, like this Alexandre Vauthier design, is pretty much your standard uniform for any self-respecting model. Which is why, on transgender model Pejic, it becomes instantly forgettable.

But then Swift manages to class (and sex) it up with touches of metallic gold. Who would've thought she could out-pose and out-style a pro?

You get to the Oscars and you’re, like, ‘I feel pretty good’, and then you see someone like Charlize Theron and you’re like, ‘I’ll just be exiting out the back. Wheel me out with the garbage’.

— US actress Tina Fey on how her Cinderella moment at the recent Academy Awards red carpet did not last long
