Peeing 'Gollum' sighted in Beijing mountains
It seems like Gollum's search for his precious ring has taken him to the mountains of China.
A tourist went for a pee while camping and came across a bizarre goblin-like creature with a striking resemblance to the emaciated hobbit from The Lord of the Rings movies, The Mirror reported.
"I walked far away to have a pee, and suddenly saw a monster. I took a few pictures of it, but I am now terrified," said the Chinese holiday-maker, reported The Telegraph.
It scampered off after being photographed.
But a netizen appeared to have ended speculation of the wandering hobbit, said The Mirror report.
"Over the weekend I and my friends went to the mountains to take a mini sci-fi film," he wrote.
"And when I was having a pee, a person popped up and took pictures of me."
