Pimp my Merc: Russian girl covers car with a million Swarovski crystals

For the richie rich glam crowd, owning a Mercedes is nothing special.

So a 21-year-old Russian girl decided to up the bling factor with her wheels.

Instagram user Dradionova, who lives and studies in London, completely covered her USD$40,000 (S$50,600) CLS 350 Mercedes with one million Swarovski crystals. It cost USD$30,000 (S$38,000), almost the cost of the car she drives.

The end result is a real head-turner.

We're pretty sure no one has ever tried this before.

"I wanted to have something unique and do something special. The people who did it came over from Russia and worked for 12 hours a day for two months on the car.

"I am really happy with it and I am looking forward to driving it around," Dradionova told Daily Mail.

"It has only just been finished and everywhere I go, people stop to have a look at it. It gets lots of attention from people walking by and in cars. Sometimes I think they might crash," she said in an interview.

The young entrepreneur - who has her own clothing business - is planning to sell the car and donate the money to charity.

Seems like she just wanted to have some fun while planning a good deed.

Hopefully the car won't get stolen before that.
