GAIN CITY

From now till Sept 23, visit Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut with your family to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the local consumer electronics and IT retail chain.

Stock up on mooncakes at the Mooncake Bazaar held at the Level 1 Atrium, open from 11am to 9pm.

Mooncake fans can exclusively purchase a box of four pieces of Golden Moments Signature Premium Durian Snowskin Mooncakes (worth $98.90) containing 100 per cent pure Mao Shan Wang durian at a discount of $15 or get a $100 discount for purchase of five boxes.

Families with children can enjoy weekend activities, which include storytelling, riddle guessing games and LED lantern-making workshops.

Aspiring chefs can learn to make their own snowskin and traditional mooncakes on Sept 22 and 23 respectively at workshops held at the Level 1 Candy Kitchen Counter.

Sign up for one of four daily hourly slots from 2pm to 5pm, and learn from Gain City's in-house chefs.

And on Sept 22, celebrate the long-awaited Mid-Autumn Affair Under-The-Stars from 6pm to 9pm. Admire the moon and be surrounded by a panoramic view of the Sungei Kadut area, accompanied by mooncakes and Chinese tea.

Astronomy.SG volunteers will also teach you how to photograph the moon using your smartphone and facilitate the usage of telescopes to observe the stars.
