Sin Kee Chicken Rice finds a new home at Sims Vista Market & Food Centre

Singaporean hawker favourite Sin Kee Famous Chicken Rice will begin a new chapter on Mar 5, setting up shop at Sims Vista Market & Food Centre.

The move marks the latest development in the long history of the stall, helmed by the dedicated Niven Leong, who carries on the legacy of his late father, the original founder of Sin Kee at the former Margaret Drive Hawker Centre.

Diners at the new Sims Vista location can expect the same attention to detail that has made Sin Kee a favourite, from the hand-prepared ingredients to the precise cooking methods.

Mr Leong remains dedicated to his father's methods for achieving authentic flavour.

The relocation from Ubi Recess Time to Sims Vista brings Sin Kee closer to a different demographic, offering the opportunity to introduce its signature chicken rice to a new audience while maintaining its connection with long-time customers.

Sin Kee Famous Chicken Rice will be open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11am to 3.30pm. The stall is closed on Mondays.

Patrons are advised to come early, as Mr Leong's popular chicken rice often sells out before closing time.
