Singers Rain, Ekin Cheng, Hins Cheung to perform in Singapore in September
They are slated to take the stage at Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025.
A number of singers, including South Korea's Rain and Hong Kong's Ekin Cheng and Hins Cheung, are slated to take the stage at Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025.
The celebrities will appear during an event titled Jam Off 2025, happening on Sept 27 and 28 at Resorts World Sentosa's Universal Studios Singapore.
This comes a week before the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025, from Oct 3 to 5 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, but the two events are not related.
The two-night Jam Off 2025 will feature adrenaline-charged performances in the evenings from 7.30pm to 10pm, and "standing zone" tickets are priced between $188 to $248 per day. Doors open at 7pm on both nights.
Day 1 will see a 30-minute opening DJ act at 7.30pm, followed by a 40-minute set by Hong Kong singer JC. At 8.40pm, Cheung will perform for 40 minutes, followed by Rain, who will also take the stage for 40 minutes.
Day 2 will feature another opening DJ act, this time lasting 40 minutes, together with a performance by five-piece Hong Kong band Nowhere Boys, starting at 7.30pm. At 8.10pm, Ekin Cheng will come on for 30 minutes, followed by Hong Kong singer Stephy Tan for 40 minutes. Rain will round up the night with a 40-minute set at 9.20pm.
The news was announced in social media posts on Aug 16 by Hong Kong entertainment and artiste management company Lam & Lamb Entertainment, which manages stars such as Cheng, Sandy Lamb, Jerry Lamb and Cantopop group Grasshopper.

According to the Visit Singapore website, the 10-day Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025, from Sept 26 to Oct 5, complements the Singapore Grand Prix with race-themed festivities that spotlight the city's attractions, dining experiences, entertainment and retail scene.

Cheung previously performed at the Resorts World Ballroom in 2024 as part of his The Next 20 Hins Cheung Live Around The World concert tour. Cheng did a solo show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2019. Rain last performed here during Waterbomb Singapore 2024 music and water festival, but he will not be performing at 2025's edition of the festival, slated for Aug 30 and 31.
