Wonder goals
Geylang International midfielder Fabian Kwok might be the flavour of the month after his wonder strike against Albirex Niigata last week went viral on social media.
But while Kwok's goal certainly deserves the praise it is getting, another local player in the Great Eastern-Yeo's S.League has been banging in some eye-catching goals himself, albeit with far less fanfare.
Step forward Courts Young Lions striker Sahil Suhaimi.
As part of our mid-season review of the current S.League season, The New Paper recently decided to compile a list of our 10 best goals so far this season, and the 21-year-old featured not once, not twice, but a remarkable three times.
TNP want you, the reader, to watch our video above and tell us which goal is the best.
If your No.1 pick is the same as our expert judge, former national shot-stopper Lionel Lewis - who was voted the best goalkeeper in Asia in 2006 and has seen a great goal or two in his career - you could win $100 and the jersey of an S.League club of your choice.
All you have to do is e-mail us at npsports@sph.com.sg and tell us which goal you think is the best among our shortlisted 10, by midnight on Friday.
More in The New Paper on Wednesday (May 14).
