Wrong number, guy's flirting texts get broadcast on Twitter
If we could give you just one piece of advice, it would be to always give a girl a missed call when you've got her number. She gets your number and you have the right number.
Because if you're not careful, your flirting techniques might just be broadcasted online.
And Steve, a man from the United Kingdom, learnt it the hard way.
He texted someone he thought was a girl he had met the night before. Instead, it was a man who worked in the public relations department of bookmaker Paddy Power.
And this PR guy wasted no time at all.
He decides to test Steve about his knowledge of The Office (UK) and he passes with flying colours. Alas, now he's worthy of truth.
There was explicit language present in Steve's subsequent text so we couldn't put it on here. However, we are happy to say that while he was a little embarrassed, he took it all in good faith. Steve also introduced himself to the Internet: 'Hello Internet, I'm Steve. I hope you've enjoyed me being a complete tool."
Don't worry Steve! You will be rewarded for being a tool.
Paddy Power then decided to reward Steve for being so sporting.
Steve, next time remember to call the girl at the bar to double check the number.
But good job with the flirting ;)
