A woman from California has accused pop star Justin Bieber of attempted robbery, according to TMZ. Los Angeles police are currently investigating the case.

The woman told the news site that she was at an amusement park in Sherman Oaks, California, when she spotted Bieber, 20, and his friends playing mini golf.

She says the singer got into a fight with some other visitors, then tried to grab her cellphone.

According to the unnamed woman, Bieber was demanding to see whether she had taken any photos of the fight on her phone. When she refused to hand it over to him, he grabbed it from her bag.

She says she wrestled with Bieber to get her phone back. Bieber then demanded that she unlock her phone, and the woman did so, showing that she had taken no pictures.

When she told Bieber that she was there with her 13-year-old daughter and they just wanted to say hello, she claims he screamed at her, "You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don't you just get out of here," which made her daughter cry.

The Los Angeles Times reports that police are interviewing the woman, and that the incident allegedly took place on Monday night. The police spokesman said they have not interviewed Bieber.
