Pharrell Williams, 42, has the look - and style - of a much younger dude.

Whether he is performing hits like Blurred Lines and Happy at music festivals or attending fashion events or even posing next to his wax figure, the multimillionaire US musician-producer always has fun with his outfits.

Only Williams can dress as a bellhop and look like fashion royalty, or pull off colourful tropical print shirts like a boss.

It is no surprise then that he bagged the fashion icon award from Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) last week.

Ever the humble superstar, Williams, casually togged in jeans, leather jacket and paper boy cap, said in his acceptance speech: "I'm not a style icon.  I'm just inspired. And I'm okay with that."

Williams' CFDA award was presented to him by none other than US rapper-turned-designer Kanye West, who raved: "Pharrell has always been my style idol. Fashion had to be the hardest high school I ever went to, but at least I had a big brother."

Taylor Swift's 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department was reportedly leaked online before its April 19 release. The Black Dog Edition is believed to the the variant that was leaked.

Williams, whose signature look used to be his oversized wide-brimmed Vivienne Westwood mountain hat, owns premium streetwear brands Billionaire Boys Club and IceCream.

He has partnered with fashion brands like Adidas, G-Star and Uniqlo. He even has his own Comme de Garcons fragrance and an eco-conscious textile company Bionic Yarn.
