Does this look like a 'dad bod'?

One wouldn't expect the usually buff Vin Diesel to become the latest victim of body-shaming.

When an unflattering photograph of a pudgy Diesel surfaced on the Internet last week, people were shocked by his "dad bod".

In response, the 48-year-old US actor took to Instagram and shared a picture of his famous abs.

"It is amazing the response from the journalists I have been talking to for the last two days in New York," wrote the father of three, whose movie The Last Witch Hunter opens here on Oct 22.

"Today, one wanted to see the dad bod. I am wondering if I should show the picture... Body-shaming is always wrong!"

Diesel also took to Facebook to share a topless photo of himself with his youngest child, daughter Pauline, named after best friend, the late Paul Walker.
