Pre-production on the sixth Mission: Impossible movie has been halted due to star Tom Cruise's salary negotiations.
Deadline reports that up to 20 people had been hired in London by studio Paramount to start work on the sequel to last year's successful Rogue Nation, until the dispute caused the hold-up.
Sources also told The Hollywood Reporter that one of the contentious points is Cruise's back-end profit participation, with the 54-year-old US actor looking to match or exceed what he is getting paid by Universal for starring in The Mummy, which he is now shooting in London.
This is the second hiccup this summer for Mission: Impossible 6.
Last month, the project threatened to fall apart over what one source said was script issues.
That obstacle pushed a November start date for shooting to January 2017.
Calvin Harris is top DJ by earnings
The 32-year-old Scottish producer-musician has kept his crown as the highest-paid DJ in the world.
Calvin Harris came up tops in the latest list compiled by Forbes magazine, for the fourth consecutive year in a row.
He cashed in US$63 million (S$84 million) in the last year, dwarfing his nearest contender, Dutch DJ Tiesto, who placed second with an estimated US$38 million.
According to Forbes, Harris made the majority of his money thanks to his lucrative residencies in Las Vegas, where he reportedly commanded more than US$400,000 per appearance.
The figures include DJ-ing fees and also earnings from live shows, merchandise, endorsements, recorded music and outside business ventures.
Carey Mulligan is UK's dementia ambassador
The 31-year-old English actress is the UK's first global dementia ambassador for the Alzheimer's Society.
Carey Mulligan was appointed last week by the organisation and UK Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt, and her new role will see her draw attention to the importance of making communities dementia-friendly.
In an interview with the BBC, the mother of one revealed the disease is close to her heart as her 90-year-old grandmother Margaret was diagnosed with Alzheimer's around 16 years ago.
Mulligan said: "It's been, at various stages, confusing and saddening, but it's also given us (her family) the opportunity to meet really amazing people who dedicate their lives to working with people who suffer from dementia."
Frank Ocean releases new album
The wait for Frank Ocean's latest album is finally over.
The Grammy-winning US singer's much-anticipated 17-track second offering Blonde is the follow-up to his successful 2012 debut album Channel Orange.
It was released last Saturday on Apple Music, two days after the 28-year-old released a surprise visual album, Endless, on the streaming service.
Pop-up stores also appeared in Los Angeles, New York, London and Chicago, that handed out free copies of Boys Don't Cry, an elaborate art magazine created by Ocean.
