Playing Bond is 'best job in world'

Agent 007 actor Daniel Craig could have taken a leaf from the title of the 1983 Bond film, Never Say Never Again.

Craig, 48, who had said, while promoting Spectre last year, that he would rather slash his wrists than continue playing James Bond, admitted he had been too hasty with the comments. Speaking at the New Yorker Festival's Beyond Bond panel last week, he joked: "They say that s*** sticks, and that definitely stuck.

"It was the day after filming (stopped on Spectre). I'd been away from home for a year. Boo-hoo. It's a good gig. I enjoy it."

Craig, who also played Bond in Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace and Skyfall, hinted he may not be done with the role yet.

"As far as I'm concerned, I've got the best job in the world. I'll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it," he said.

"If I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly."
