President Trump = End of the world? Jennifer Lawrence thinks so

The Hunger Games actress’ thoughts on Donald Trump echo Katniss Everdeen’s feelings toward President Snow

Katniss Everdeen has a bone to pick with President Snow, and it looks like Jennifer Lawrence feels the same way against Donald Trump too.

The Hunger Games actress has some strong words for the presidential candidate, telling Entertainment Weekly recently that it "will be the end of the world if Donald Trump becomes president".

And similar to The Hunger Games movies, Lawrence, 25, has the full support from her co-stars.

“I’ll back you up on that,” said Liam Hemsworth, with Josh Hutcherson commenting that he reckons Trump's run for presidency is a "publicity stunt".

"It can't be real," said Hutcherson.

Lawrence agreed, adding that "reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment".

She added: “I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, ‘I love Donald Trump because he’s saying everything I’m thinking and I just can’t say it because of the PC factor.'

"And I’m thinking, ‘You are absolutely right. That’s who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect.’”

Lawrence wasn't the only one speaking up against Trump.

Matt Damon had strong words about the presidential hopeful too.

The Martian star, 44, chided Trump for his plan to build a wall between the US and Mexico to keep out immigrants.

"It seems so un-American. We have people running for the highest elected office talking about putting a wall up that would keep my wife and her family out of the country.”

“When people are talking about putting a wall up, I just can’t take them seriously. I can’t," said Damon.
