Thhe Blair Witch Project, but upgraded with cameras on drones.

The original 1999 cult horror film seems pretty dated now, so this latest sequel has certainly moved with the times.

In the original, three student film-makers go missing in Maryland's Black Hills. They are believed to have fallen victim to the legendary Blair Witch, as only their mysterious video footage is found.

This new version follows James Donahue (James Allen McCune) as he takes his friends to the Black Hills to find his sister Heather, one of the original missing trio.

Cue kids screaming in the woods and finding creepy symbols dangling over their campsite.

Blair Witch is the scariest flick I have seen in a while.

The shaky camera style, while disorienting at times, puts you in their shoes.

Speaking of shoes, there is a particularly gruesome barefoot scene, if you are into that sort of thing.

Verdict: 4/5
