Robert Langdon is back, and once again running around picturesque tourist spots hunting for clues.

This time, he has to stop a bioterrorism plot that will wipe out half the world's population.

How the story unfolds follows what we've seen in The Da Vinci Code (2006) and Angels & Demons (2009).

Even Langdon's sidekick, Felicity Jones' medical doctor Sienna Brooks, looks like she stepped out of the same mould as her predecessors - brunette, smart and they probably share the same fashion stylist.

One marked difference is that Langdon here is suffering from temporary amnesia due to head trauma, which means he doesn't have his brains and has to rely on Sienna to solve the puzzle.

Hanks is charming, Jones is engaging, but the scene-stealer is Irrfan Khan's mysterious security expert, who injects life and humour in the second act.
