How far would you go to protect your loved ones?

That is the big question at the centre of No Escape, a heavy-hitting dramatic thriller.

We follow American businessman Jack Dwyer (Owen Wilson) as he and his family settle into their new home in a fictitious country in South-east Asia.

Suddenly caught in a violent political uprising, they frantically look for a way out - Pierce Brosnan plays a mysterious British dude who helps them - as rebels mercilessly ravage the city.

While the movie's storyline is simple, its action set pieces are so visceral and intense they had me on the edge of my seat right from the start.
