A fluffy, friendly and faithful dragon?
You bet!
And he’s more a soulmate than a pet.
Pete’s Dragon is a winning, stirring, live action fantasy adventure about Pete (Oakes Fegley) who is raised in the woods by an unlikely guardian, a protective and nurturing, green dragon named Elliott.
A chance encounter with forest ranger Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard) and a company of lumberjacks pique Pete’s curiosity, and they are similarly intrigued by how Pete survives in the wild for over five years.
The amazingly-created Elliott is a plus, but the real draw is the timeless, heartwarming story that’s brilliantly brought to life by the cast.
Don’t be surprised if you feel the urge to reach out for the tissue paper.
