So charming! Chris Pratt's best moments from the Jurassic World press tour

Clearly, people are still impressed with dinosaurs as Jurassic World, the latest instalment of the popular Jurassic Park franchise, roars its way to success after more than $500 million (S$673 million) in global revenue.

It has broken the record for the best opening weekend in history - beating Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2011.

It scooped up $100 million in just China alone, proving that a mix of Chris Pratt's charm at a recent junket in Beijing and some dinosaurs is a recipe for success.

Pratt has also been making many promotional appearances globally in conjunction with the release of the movie - and we cannot get enough of him.

So here are some of his best moments from his press tour.

Pratt's afraid of dinosaurs too

He plays tough dinosaur researcher and trainer Owen Grady in Jurassic World. But in real life, he's as scared as any of us would be when faced with a (fake) dinosaur.

Polish YouTubers SA Wardega decided to prank Pratt during one of his press stops.

He is seen going down a narrow corridor when two animatronic dinosaurs lunges out at him and several members of his entourage.

Pratt immediately jumps back, afraid and says: "Oh s***".

Fortunately, he laughed it off later and even admired how well the prank was carried out.

Could Chris Pratt play a British guy in the future?

If casting directors are looking for someone to play a trashy male character from Essex (as he described it "like Jersey Shore"), Pratt has the accent locked down, as he showed off on The Graham Norton Show.

Pratt reads dino erotica

He proves that anything he says can be sexy - including reading dinosaur erotica out loud.

Running in heels? Not a problem

One of the talking points in Jurassic World was lead actress Bryce Dallas Howard's incredibly ability to run in heels for the entire movie. So James Corden challenged Pratt to do the same. Admittedly, he could use a little practice but it is pretty admirable.

Not every stranger that invites you back has ill intentions (don't try this at home)

Yes, that's a young Chris Pratt with a gorgeous mane in an unbuttoned shirt in a photo that's more than a decade old. The star explained the story behind it during an interview with Jimmy Fallon. He recalled how a stranger invited him back to his home to get his headshot done ... showers were included.
