Making its Asian premiere at SGIFF this year is All We Had, which is the directorial debut of actress Katie Holmes. It will premiere on Dec 3 at 11am, at Shaw Theatres Lido.

Holmes plays Rita, who has been on the run with daughter Ruthie (Stefania LaVie Owen) for as long as they can remember, and their lives are full of bad boyfriends, alcohol and petty theft. When their beat-up car breaks down in front of the diner they had just stolen food from, Ruthie and Rita must finally make good on their lives by settling down in a small town.

Adapted from the 2014 novel by Annie Weatherswax, All We Had also stars Luke Owens and Judy Greer, and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. It is a heartfelt coming-of-age drama about an unshakable mother-daughter bond, second chances and small-town life.

We have 5 pairs of All We Had tickets to give away, courtesy of 27th Singapore International Film Festival.
